Gear....wow. Seems like the more I try to simplify things, the more complicated they get. :) Here's the current line-up of instruments and amplification equipment:

Basses:

  • Devon Guitars Diamond J5 - ash/maple five-string Jazz.

  • Mike Lull M5V #1300 - alder/rosewood five-string Jazz.
  • Mike Lull M4V #1301 - alder/rosewood Jazz.
  • Mike Lull M5V #1489 - ash/maple five-string Jazz.
  • Mike Lull M5V #1525 - ash/maple five string P/J.

  • Rob Allen MB-2 - mahogany w/ maple top, maple neck w/ fretless cocobolo board.

  • Roscoe SKB 3006 #5520 - ash w/ myrtle top, spalted purpleheart board.
  • Roscoe Century 3006 J #6242 - alder w/ maple top, pau ferro board, six-string Jazz.
  • Roscoe Century 3006 J #6280 - mahogany w/ flame maple top, six-string Jazz (kinda...custom pickup placement a la Zon S/S).

  • Sadowsky M5-24 #M432 - ash/maple.

Amps & Cabs:

  • Epifani UL-902C - the big dog, for the really loud gigs.
  • Genz Benz Shuttle 9.0 - the workhorse.
  • Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0-12T - practice, rehearsals, small gigs.
  • Bergantino HT-112ER (x2) - workhorse...one or both for nearly every gig.
  • Bergantino AE212 - for loud gigs and that warm, vintage tone.

DI's:

  • GrooveTubes DITTO - two tubes = fat, warm, and full.
  • Radial JDI - transparent, "polite."
  • Sadowsky Pre/DI - when only a Sadowsky will do. :)
